that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
From the moment of belief, repentance and public confession the spirit of the sinner is saved. However, contrary to popular belief the Soul (mind, will and emotions) is not saved and neither is the body with its selfish lusts and instincts.

Additionally, while the saved "ex-sinner" is washed by the Blood of the Lamb (the death of Jesus) he, or she, is not yet a mature Son of God (another false doctrine) - the individual is born into the family of God as a child.
